Denmark Constitution Day 2020

• As spring makes its gradual transition to summer, today’s Doodle honors Denmark Constitution Day. The first Danish Constitution was signed on this day in 1849, and the current version of the constitution was adopted on June 5, 1953. 
  Featured in today’s Doodle, the red and white flag of Denmark was first recognized in 1849, as the government and citizens alike rallied around the signing of their new constitution.
