| Today (11.09.2017) is election day for Norway’s national parliament, the Storting. Every four years, all 169 seats of the Storting representing the 19 counties of Norway are open for election. The parliament holds the power to pass laws, maintain the national budget, and supervise the government, and cannot be dissolved before the four-year term is up. To Norwegian citizens 18 years of age or turning 18--Happy election day! |
